Not necessarily. The AI Readiness Assessment is specifically designed to evaluate what you have now. Some organisations have more usable data than they realise; others need to first put basic data collection practices in place. We'll give you a straightforward picture of where you stand before recommending next steps.

It depends on the engagement. An AI Readiness Assessment runs two to three weeks. Custom model development typically spans six to twelve weeks depending on data complexity and scope. The AI Strategy and Roadmap engagement is structured over four to six weeks. We'll agree on a clear timeline during the initial scoping call.

Not necessarily, at least not right away. We can work alongside your existing technical staff and transfer knowledge progressively. If building an internal capability is part of your longer-term plan, we can include that in the strategy roadmap and advise on what hiring makes sense at which stage.

We've worked with organisations in financial services, logistics, retail, manufacturing, and healthcare administration — primarily in Malaysia and the broader Southeast Asia region. That said, the methodologies we use translate well across sectors, and we're comfortable learning the specifics of industries we haven't worked in before.

Data handling is covered in the engagement agreement before any work begins. We operate under strict confidentiality terms, use encrypted storage and transfer for all client data, and restrict access to named team members working on your project. We can also structure engagements where sensitive data never leaves your environment.

We establish measurable performance criteria at the start of the Custom Model Development engagement. If a model doesn't reach those benchmarks, we work with you to understand why and iterate until it does — or honestly advise on whether a different approach would serve you better. The aim is a working result, not just a completed project.

Engagements are invoiced in Malaysian Ringgit. Standard terms are a deposit at project commencement followed by milestone-based payments. For multi-week engagements, we can also structure monthly billing. Payment via bank transfer is standard; other arrangements can be discussed.
